Our Story

Local History – It’s about life and living

Welcome to Vankleek Hill Stories!

The Musée Vankleek Hill Museum was opened to the public in 2009 and is operated by the Vankleek Hill Historical Society with help from volunteers and summer students. Typically, the museum is open to guests during the summer months, hosts walking tours and events, and conducts and shares research regularly.

Discover Our Unique Past

As part of our effort to make our history more accessible during the pandemic, we have decided to start a blog. Here, we will focus on the unique stories of our historical figures, properties, and businesses. Some of our stories will also include resources for further research. We hope that community members will recognize some of the people and places, and that these stories will enrich your appreciation for our beloved town.

We thank you for all your support. Tax receipts will be provided immediately.
